The inception of the Satochain Blockchain sprang from a deep appreciation of the necessity for diversifying the Bitcoin network. Bitcoin's scripting language, in contrast to Ethereum's smart contract capabilities, is notably simpler and provides limited functionality. Acknowledging this, Satochain Blockchain was conceptualized and developed as an advanced application layer aimed at enhancing the variety of applications and use cases on the Bitcoin network.
